A Long Night Campaign Game Report: Session 5

Here’s another game report for the Long Night game. I’m almost caught up with these reports! Thanks to my players for continuing to make this game work despite nightmarish schedules. Since this session ended up being an hour shorter, this post should be brief. See this post for the previous session.

GLOG-Inspired Magic for Anglo-Saxon Long Night D&D Game

What follows are some of the current house rules for the magic system in my current Long Night campaign. These rules represent changes that will significantly affect traditional D&D gameplay. Such changes are obviously not for everyone. While my game has been running along just fine, it’s still too early to determine if this GLOG-inspired system will work for long-term play.

Dabbling with MidJourney

I wanted to do another quick post showing some of results I produced after playing around with MidJourney to create AI-generated art. Admittedly, it has been both fun and interesting (and a bit addictive). I’m definitely still learning how to best use prompts to generate images at least somewhat reflective of my initial vision; however, even when that does not occur I am often fascinated by the results. What follows are some images generated using my current Long Night campaign as inspiration. Enjoy!
