ArneCon 3 is getting close (October 10th through 12th)! I went last year and had a good time. Like last year, the convention falls on my birthday. This makes it easy for me to pitch to the family how going is a present to myself. Even if the sessions fell flat, I’ll get some downtime to relax and enjoy myself. Anyone else going this year? If so, feel free to send me a message. I would happy to meet up and have a drink.

The fun continues. Started my morning exploring the deeper levels of The Lost Dungeons of Tonisburg! D.H. Boggs of Hidden in Shadows ran a fun game interspersed with stories about the history of the dungeon and its rediscovery. I played Menander Ithamis, an Elven Fighter. Good stuff, and I was still alive at the end. Gotta love an early-era dungeon crawl in which one of the players is an alien with a phaser that can be set to kill.
