I'm a former professor of religious studies turned hospital chaplain that has a love for old-school roleplaying, particularly original D&D and B/X D&D. Interpretation of OD&D Elves, Dwarves, & Halflings (3 LBBs only)

Not much to post today. I did, however, finally get my interpretations of OD&D elves, dwarves, and halflings posted over on my Links and Resources page. These interpretations are for elves, dwarves, and halflings presented in the original 3 Little Brown Books only, not later supplements like Greyhawk.

I’m trying to get some of my own clarifications posted in anticipation of an upcoming open table game using the 3LBBs only. Here are the individual links to the material:

Plant Lore and Healing Remedies in D&D: Mugwort (Common)

This herb, which one calls ‘artemisia’ and by another name ‘mugwort’ is produced in stony and sandy places; when someone wishes to begin a journey, have him take this herb artemisia in his hand and have it with him, then he will not find the journey too great; and it also drives off demonic possession and in the house, where he has it inside, it forbids evil leechdoms and also it averts the eyes of evil men.
