Ceorl Beornfrith is the head of one of the six families that traveled north with Seaxwulf to found a new settlement on the edge of the great forest called Andredes Weald. He is large man whose size and muscle is succumbing to more and more fat each passing year. Some consider him to have a depraved look and experience him as complacent since his clothing always seems unkept and too small for his meaty frame. His wife is Bebbe, and his son is Beornfrith the Younger.
