Hægtessan are beautiful, yet terrible, Otherworldly martial females driven by an inner fury that makes them capable of raw and bloody power. They are feared in battle, and many say that they drive nearby warriors into a bloodthirsty rage. Folktales speak of hægtessan gaining power and knowledge from gravesites and barrow mounds. There are no male hægtessan.
