Not much is known about the fifelas (singular, fifel). They are said to be perilous and powerful beings inhabiting fens, wastelands, and swamps. Some whisper that they were once guardians of magical doorways between the worlds. Some tales describe them as guardians of the Stone of Destiny. Others say these foul, watery creatures are seeking the Stone of Destiny to destroy it.
